i had an excellent stay at marriott! Checking in was a breeze. the receptionist quickly handed me my key. my queen room was spacious and clean on the 8th floor, making for a comfortable experience. the hotel’s location is central, right next to the convention center and near the shooting star cafe, which serves amazing food late at night.

Check-in was straightforward, receiving the key card upon arrival. The room was spacious and immaculate, featuring a fantastic view of the sunrise. Dining options were limited, but the small room service menu was satisfactory. However, the area felt a bit deserted at night, requiring extra caution. Unfortunately, the water pressure in the bathroom could benefit from improvement.

The hotel offered stunning views and a great location for our family vacation, with easy access to nearby attractions. We especially appreciated the clean amenities and friendly staff who were accommodating when we traveled with our kiddie, ensuring a comfortable stay.

My kids wished there were more family-friendly dining options available in the hotel.

Location is great, just across from BART and a short walk to places for food and fun. The view from our room on the seventh floor was incredible, overlooking the port and hills.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but it was acceptable for what we got.

Comfortable bed, convenient location, well-equipped amenities, including a fitness center and flat-screen TV for relaxation after exploring the nearby dining options and easy access to the BART station for airport travel.

Chilled here for 3 nights. Big room with a huge TV and comfy bed—perfect for solo vibes. Staff were super friendly, especially at breakfast. totally recommend that spot! Only bummer was the $45 parking fee, a bit steep for just leaving the car. Otherwise, it was a solid place to crash.

Got to say, the pillows were pretty terrible—definitely could use an upgrade, and I found some loose carpet in my room that tried to trip me a few times. Plus, the wi-fi situation felt like an unnecessary hassle with a membership requirement. On top of that, having someone knock aggressively at my door without a heads up was a bit unsettling. I would have appreciated clearer communication about that. The garage fees were another sting because paying $45 a night felt a bit steep.

I stayed for 10 nights in a cozy King Guest Room with a stunning view of the city skyline. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, and I enjoyed memorable meals at the Iron & Oak restaurant. Be sure to catch the sunset for breathtaking photos!

Just a good pick for strolling around in Oakland and value for money. The parking pass situation was a bit frustrating, though. Make sure to double-check your parking options upon arrival.
